Eligible Insurers Sponsored by PSLA
Each surplus lines insurer applicant must be sponsored by a licensed surplus lines agent. The sponsor should handle all correspondence regarding the insurer’s initial application for surplus lines eligibility (qualification) plus annual renewal correspondence (requalification).
The Pennsylvania Surplus Lines Association has a licensed surplus lines agent and has sponsored most of the eligible insurers. Below are the eligible insurers sponsored by PSLA.
- Foreign Eligible Insurers Sponsored by PSLA (incorporated within the United States but not within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania)
- Alien Eligible Insurers Sponsored by PSLA (incorporated outside the United States)
